Today we start the celebration of the most significant week in Christian history. On this Sunday in history, now commonly called Palm Sunday, many of the people of Israel hailed Jesus as the Messiah, the king of the Jews. It would set off the passion week, which will end in Christ’s betrayal, crucifixion and resurrection from the dead, providing us the ultimate victory over sin and death.
