To my mother of almost 57 years, I wish you a happy Mother’s Day. Thank you for being a woman of God, and raising me based on your faith in God and saving faith of Christ’s redemptive work on the cross. Thank you for loving me unconditionally, so that I never had reason to doubt that you loved me (even if Julie was your favorite).
To Denise, my wife of almost 37 years, and the mother of my two sons, the best partner I could have ever found, happy Mother’s Day. Have a great day. Today really is about you. You have shown your love for me in how you raised Craig and Peter, how you’ve followed me around the country and made a life and a home for our family wherever we were. You have shown your love for the Lord in how you’ve lived your life, and given yourself in service to God and to His church, offering your many talents and gifts whenever and wherever they were needed. I love you more than you can ever know, and I want to continue playing duets with you for as long as I live.
To Lindsay and Emilia, mothers of the two best granddaughters in the world, happy Mother’s Day, and thank you. Thank you for loving my granddaughters, bringing them into this world and bringing them up to love the Lord, and teaching them how to live a Godly life.
