There’s a battle going on in a place you shouldn’t expect. It’s been going on for ages, and has taken quite a toll. The battleground is the local church, any church, take your pick, and the cause of the battle is music. It’s probably not news to many, as most in a church have participated on one side or the other. There are few neutrals.

Remember also what Jesus said in Matthew 16:24. How can we deny ourselves when we’re fighting to “sing it my way”?
