Just Do It

I often refer to this Arthur C Clarke short story, Superiority, when working on a project that is almost done, but testing keeps finding something that COULD be a bit better, or some other inconsequential reason that will postpone the launch of an application.

Of course, there’s always the chance I’m reading it wrong.  Maybe Clarke is just telling us to ignore technology advances and get on with whatever business we need to get done using the tools we have at hand.  Darn.  I hate it when I second-guess myself.
