This article from Wednesday’s Detroit News brings home something I have long suspected: many who claim they are taxpayers and should have the same rights as others are not taxpayers at all, but instead are tax drains. If somebody gets more money back than they pay in, they are not in any sense of the word taxpayers.
Oh, well. Guess I should really be grateful that I can still pay taxes.
