Day nine started with a walking tour around the lower lakes of Plitvice Lakes National Park.  This was one of my favorite stops, and I took a lot of pictures.  After Plitvice, we went to Zagreb, capital of Croatia where we saw Roosevelt and Ban Josip Jelacic Squares, as well as the Presidential Palace, Stone Gate and the Pope's Tower.  Did you know that fountain pens were invented in Zagreb?  Or that neckties were a Croatian fashion invention?  Thank you, Croatia, for that one.

I'm not much on text, so about all you'll see are pictures. If you want explanations, e-mail Denise. She knows and sees all.
