I’m working on\u00a0 a personal Bible study.\u00a0 Over the last couple of years, I’ve spent a lot of time in the Psalms, and noticed a lot of recurring themes and phrases.\u00a0 One of them that has taken me is “I will”.\u00a0 It comes from at least two different perspectives, that of the psalmist, saying what he will do, and the other from the LORD, telling us what He will do.\u00a0 Both are great studies.\u00a0 I think I’ll start with those from the psalmist’s point of view and see what is in his mind, then look back and see what God will do.<\/p>\n
Feel free to study along with me.\u00a0 If you’d like some advance reading material, there’s always the Psalms.\u00a0 Open your Bible to the middle and you’ll find them.\u00a0 You can also pick up a copy of P B Power’s “The ‘I Wills’ of the Psalms” if you can find it.\u00a0 This will not serve as a study text, but it will certainly be good background reading.<\/p>\n
I’m still working out the details on how I will organize the study.\u00a0 It will be a combination of specific themes and studies of an entire Psalm.\u00a0 More on that later.<\/p>\n
