One Psalm, three great hymns.\u00a0 Read Psalm 117 in all its brevity, and then see how two different hymn writers interpreted it.\u00a0 The hymns came from C H Spurgeon’s Our Own Hymn-Book.<\/a><\/p>\n

Psalm 117<\/strong><\/p>\n

Praise the LORD, all nations!\u00a0 Extol him, all peoples!\u00a0 For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!<\/p>\n

ALL ye nations, praise the Lord,
\nAll ye lands, your voices raise;
\nHeaven and earth with loud accord,
\nPraise the Lord, for ever praise:<\/p>\n

For His truth and mercy stand,
\nPast, and present, and to be;
\nLike the years of His right hand,
\nLike His own eternity.<\/p>\n

Praise Him, ye who know His love;
\nPraise Him from the depth beneath;
\nPraise Him in the heights above;
\nPraise your Maker, all that breathe. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
