Without goals, we meander aimlessly through life.<\/p>\n<p>I have a goal or two, and just added a new one. Reading in Philemon this morning I read what Paul had to say to start his letter. My new goal is to live so that someone would be able to say this about me: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I always thank my God when I mention you in my prayers,\u00a0because I hear of your love\u00a0and faith toward\u00a0the Lord Jesus and for all the saints.\u00a0I pray that your participation in the faith may become effective\u00a0through knowing every good thing\u00a0that is in us\u00a0for the glory of Christ. For I have great joy and encouragement from your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed\u00a0through you, brother.<br \/>\n<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Philemon1&#038;version=HCSB\">Philemon 4-7<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>What about you? Is that a good goal for you, too? Is your knowledge of every good thing we have in Christ shown in your love of others and faith in Christ? I know I have a long way to go.
