Eternal hallelujahs
\nBe to the Father giv’n,
\nWho lov’d His own
\nEre time begun,
\nAnd mark’d them out for heav’n.<\/span><\/p>\nAnthems of equal glory,
\nAscribe to the Saviour;
\nWho liv’d and died,
\nThat we, His bride,
\nMight live with Him for ever.<\/p>\n
Hail, co-eternal Spirit,
\nThy Church’s new Creator!
\nThe saints He seals,
\nTheir fear dispels,
\nAnd sanctifies their nature.<\/p>\n
We laud the glorious Triad,
\nThe mystic one in essence;
\nTill call’d to join
\nThe host that shine
\nIn His immediate presence.<\/p>\n
Faithful is He that promis’d
\nAnd stands engag’d to save us;
\nThe Triune Lord
\nHas pass’d His word,
\nThat He will never leave us.<\/p>\n
A kingdom He assign’d us
\nBefore the world’s foundation;
\nThou God of grace,
