There have been many, many hymns written over the years touching on the Trinity by many different authors. These pages will provide the text of some.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most widely sung songs of the Trinity was penned by Thomas Ken in 1697, and is known today as simply the Doxology.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Praise God, from whom all blessings flow;<br \/>\nPraise Him all creatures here below;<br \/>\nPraise Him above, ye heavenly host;<br \/>\nPraise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Gadsby&#8217;s Hymns gives the scriptural background to this hymn as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esvbible.org\/Psalm+117\/\" target=\"_blank\">Psalm 117<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esvbible.org\/Psalm+150%3A6\/\" target=\"_blank\">Psalm 150:6<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esvbible.org\/Psalm+148%3A2-4\/\" target=\"_blank\">Psalm 148:2-4<\/a>.
