High let us swell our tuneful notes,
\nAnd join th’ angelic throng;
\nFor angels no such love have known
\nT’ awake a cheerful song.<\/p>\n

Good will to sinful men is shown,
\nAnd peace on earth is giv’n;
\nFor lo, th’ incarnate Savior comes
\nWith messages from heav’n.<\/p>\n

Justice and grace with sweet accord
\nHis rising beams adorn;
\nLet heav’n and earth in consort join,
\nNow such a child is born.<\/p>\n

Glory to God in highest strains
\nIn highest worlds be paid;
\nHis glory by our lips proclaim’d ,
\nAnd by our lives display’d.<\/p>\n

When shall we reach those blissful realms,
\nWhere Christ exalted reigns,
\nAnd learn of the celestial choir
