We got a thank you note in the mail yesterday. What’s that, you ask? Someone actually took time to sit down, and with a pen and a card, put her thoughts on paper, then added a stamp and actually mailed it out! Not 15 seconds to dash off an email or text message, but minutes out of a busy day to say thank you.
How often do we forget to say thank you in a quick and easy manner, let alone take time to write a note? That’s something I need to do better at, I know.
So today, take a few minutes out of a busy day and say thank you. Write a note, cursive or print, either will work. Then, expect a smile or two, even if you won’t see it.
