Come, worship with us

If you’re up north, in Michigan, near Cheboygan, we’d love to have you come worship with us Sunday morning. Here’s some of what’s going on tomorrow (August 9, 2015).

The adult Sunday school class, taught tomorrow by Harry Hammond, is finishing a brief study of Job, as part of a video series by Philip Yancey titled “The Bible Jesus Read” at 9:30.

In the 11:00 hour, Michael Peterson’s sermon will be based on Colossians 3:12-14, and our songs of praise and worship cover five centuries of singing, and will be centered around the themes of forgiveness and peace.

  • Praise God (the Doxology with some extra verses)
  • Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven
  • 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)
  • Peace Like a River
  • Like a River Glorious
  • Rock of Ages (When the Day Seems Long)
  • Lord, I Need You (I Need Thee Every Hour)
  • How Deep the Father’s Love for Us

So come worship with us at 616 W Lincoln Ave, Cheboygan, MI 49721, at the corner of W Lincoln and S Western. Sing an old, beloved song, or learn a new one. Bring a friend, or find a new one. See you then!
