I subscribe to Budget Travel (and their email newsletter) because we like to travel, and we like to travel inexpensively. One of the articles in their latest newsletter was “The World’s Most Beautiful Lakes“. I was saddened that none of my favorite lakes, Mullett Lake, Lake Michigan, and Lake Superior were included on their list, but was very surprised to realize that of their 10 lakes from around the world I have actually seen and have personal pictures of three of them. I certainly won’t argue that they are beautiful!
Here are some of my pictures of Crater Lake in Oregon, Plitvice Lakes in Croatia and Lake Bled in Slovenia.
