We visited Turkey in May, '98 to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, with Denise's parents, Dick and Phyllis Bos.

Our trip to Turkey began from what was then our home in Feasterville, PA. We flew to Istanbul from Newark, NJ (our luggage took a different, longer route, and met up with us five days later in Kusadesi minus some of Denise's favorite things) and from there began our two week Cosmos tour of Turkey. During that time we visited ancient ruins in Troy (Troas), Pergamum, Ephesus, Aphrodisias, Heirapolis, and Cappadocia; separate WWI monuments to the allied (mostly Australian and British) and Turkish forces at Anzac, stopped at a carpet mill outside someplace, a pottery shop in Cappadocia, silk merchants in Bursa, and the Spice Market and Grand Bazaar in Istanbul; Islamic mosques in Bursa and Istanbul, and saw many sites relevant to the early Christian church around the country.

I'm not much on text, so all you will see are pictures. If you want explanations, e-mail Denise. She knows and sees all.
